Coat & Blanket Drive: Month of January

Help keep children and families warm during the winter! Please donate gently used winter coats and blankets to the Latin American Association to help keep children and families out of the cold this winter. As the temperatures begin to drop, we have experienced an increase in families and individuals needing items.

Drop off at the LAA Atlanta Outreach Center on 2750 Buford Highway, Atlanta, GA 30324.

Business Attire & Professional Clothing Drive:
Month of March

Help open doors and provide job opportunities to individuals dedicated to improving their quality of life.

We are collecting professional clothing that is given to participants in our employment programs who are conducting job searches and need proper interview attire.

Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Family Program: Oct. 1 - Nov. 20

Spread the joy of a Thanksgiving meal to families in need. We collect gift cards to provide families with food on Thanksgiving Day.

Spirit of Giving Toy Drive: November / December

Provide more than 400 deserving children with a special holiday by giving to the Latin American Association’s Spirit of Giving toy drive. Donate two new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 12 and bring a big smile to the child who receives your gift. Each child will receive two gifts.

Donated toys are given to families in need who are currently participating in LAA programs, receiving emergency services, or are recognized by a staff member as a family in need.

2009 Toy donation drop off dates: Nov. 30 – Dec. 11, 2009

Winter Clothing Drive / Month of December

Keep children and families warm this winter by donating winter clothing to the LAA. As the temperatures begin to drop, we see an increase in families and individuals requesting items such as:

Cell Phone Collection Drive

Save the environment by donating your old cell phones and make an impact on the mission of the LAA. Bring them to the LAA Atlanta Outreach Center on 2750 Buford Highway, Atlanta, GA 30324 and we will turn them in for recycling. The LAA will receive a donation for each recycled phone.
