What We Do

The Latin American Association offers low-priced immigration assistance to the community.

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

* Wednesdays we close at 3:00 pm to carry out our weekly staff meeting.

Schedule an Appointment!

Simply call 404-471-1889 to schedule an appointment today with our immigration staff. Due to the complexity of the immigration laws, we cannot answer questions over the phone. All consultations should be carried out in person and with an appointment.

The Immigration Services Department oversees consultation, referrals and legal representation services for people and families who comply with the requirements based on family income*, legal eligibility, and available resources.  View eligibility requirements below.

Our lawyers and legal aides can help clients with the following services:

• Family petitions

• Domestic violence cases

• Applications to adjust status to permanent resident

• Citizenship

• Replacement of the permanent resident card

• Applications to remove the conditions for conditional residents

• Application for certificate of naturalization

• Motions to reopen before USCIS

• Reinstatement of I-130 when the original petitioner passes away

• Waivers if inadmissibility and other immigration applications.

The department does not accept cases in regards to political asylum, employment based petitions, student visas, investor, or professional visas.
