Individual and Parent Registrations
School & Student Registrations:
Students, teachers and parents can all participate! Students who meet the following guidelines can sign up:
• Students that express a desire to participate in the Latino Youth Leadership Conference
• Students that have participated in previous Latino Youth Leadership Conferences
• Students that have demonstrated leadership qualities at their school through academic, social/community involvement, artistic, and athletic activities.
• Students that have leadership potential if given the opportunity
• Non-Latino students that have contributed to the development of Latino students at your school
Who can sign students up to participate?
The school’s designated contact person, graduation coaches, counselors, teachers and/or parents may sign students up for participation. Parents, if you have asked your student’s school about the conference and no contact person has been designated, you may call the Latin American Association to sign your student up at 404-638-1838.
Instructions for registering students:
1) School contacts will list participating students on our initial sign-up form (excel spreadsheet). Simply follow the instructions on the spreadsheet to submit the spreadsheet to the LAA.

2) Parents need to fill out permission forms! The LAA will send a packet of permission forms to your school for parents to sign.
3) School contacts should distribute these forms to students and collect them once they are filled out.
4) Parents, school contacts and/or students should return the permission forms to the LAA on the day of the conference at the registration table. This permission form completes the student’s registration.

IMPORTANT: Students will not be allowed to participate or stay at the conference if they do not have their signed permission forms with them on the day of the conference.
Teacher Registrations:
Any interested teachers are welcome to attend the conference! Follow the instructions on the spreadsheet to submit your registration.

Parent Registrations:
Upon submission of student registrations to the LAA, parents will receive a permission form from their child’s school. Parents should indicate their interest in participating on this form. They may submit the form to their school’s contact person. They may also fax or mail the form to the LAA, attention “Youth Conference Registration,” at 678-205-3149. Our staff will call to confirm that their registration has been received. They may also bring the registration form on the day of the conference to the registration table.

Parents & Individual students can register for the conference! Here are the steps:
1) Download a registration form and fill it out. Click here to download the form!
2) Parents should indicate their interest in participating on this form in order to register.
3) You can turn your form in to the LAA during the registration period by mail, fax, or hand. Fax: 678-205-3149. Mail: 2750 Buford Highway, Atlanta GA 30324
4) You can turn your form by hand in at any of our outreach centers!
5) You can also bring the form to the registration table on the day of the conference.
