Community Resources & Health Programs

We work with a number of partner agencies who provide services at LAA sites such as free HIV testing, hemoglobin tests, Medicaid assistance and blood drives. Check out schedules here. We can help eligible individuals to access community resources such as Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).

Rent, Mortgage & Utility Assistance

In certain cases, we can provide temporary, limited financial and case management services to help prevent homelessness.  Specific guidelines and policies are used to determine need, eligibility, amount of financial assistance and other resources necessary.

We distribute food and clothing to individuals and families facing hardship. The LAA depends on private donations to provide this service!  If you would like to donate clothing, food, personal care products or household items, please contact Thomas Fuller at 404-638-1831 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
