This course is designed for low intermediate, high intermediate and advanced level students who wish to improve their spoken and written English for professional purposes and in the workfield. Click here to learn more. En Español.

English Grammar & Writing Classes

English Pronunciation Classes

Computer Literacy Classes

Our Computer Literacy classes are taught in Spanish and teach adults to understand and use skills in word processing, Internet and E-mail for personal and employment purposes.

Citizenship Classes

Through a partnership with the Jewish Family and Career Services, we offer citizenship classes that teach adults the content and interview skills needed in English to successfully pass the citizenship exam. Adult ELL Teacher Training Workshops 

The LAA offers ELL Teacher Trainings to new and experienced teachers who want to teach adult immigrants. Topics covered include grammar, reading and writing, pictures and visual aids, managing a multi-level class, and developing materials. Classes are free and participants must register beforehand.
